The Stand - Stephen King Okay, it pains me every time I see my own rating of this book by Stephen King. If any book deserved 5 stars on my personal reading list, this would be on the top for sure. But I am going to keep it at 4 stars just to remind myself of the fact that I hated the end of this book. Bloody 'deus ex machina' if ever there was one. Otherwise, one of my favorites of all time.
